The long-awaited moment has arrived for health professionals across Tanzania! The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (OR-TAMISEMI) has officially announced job placements for successful applicants under the Tanzania Maternal and Child Health Investment Program (TMCHIP). If you applied in December 2024, it’s time to check your placement and get ready to report to your assigned location.
TAMISEMI Job Placement Announcement – TMCHIP Program July 2025
The Office of the President – Regional Administration and Local Government (OR-TAMISEMI) has finalized the placement process for applicants who applied for contractual health positions under the Tanzania Maternal and Child Health Investment Program (TMCHIP) in December 2024. All selected candidates are now required to report to the local government authorities (Halmashauri) where they have been assigned. These positions are offered under a two-year contract (24 months).
Important Reporting Instructions for Selected Candidates:
- Reporting Deadline:
All selected candidates must report to their assigned workstations within 14 days from the date of this announcement (starting July 23, 2025). Failure to report within this period will result in the position being offered to another applicant. - Required Documents:
Candidates must bring the original copies of the following certificates:- Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Four)
- Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Six)
- University/College Certificates
- NACTE Certificates (if applicable)
- Valid registration certificates from professional councils
- No Station Transfers:
Please note that no requests to change the assigned workstations will be entertained. These are strictly contractual positions. - Unsuccessful Applicants:
If your name does not appear on the official list, it means you were not selected. However, you are encouraged to apply for future opportunities when they are announced.
Responsibilities of Local Government Authorities:
All Directors of Local Government Authorities are instructed to:
- Receive the selected employees
- Verify their certificates
- Conduct induction training before they begin official duties
