Available Positions and Job Descriptions
1. Office Secretary (Grade II) — 2 Vacancies
Key Responsibilities:
- Typing letters, reports, and confidential documents regularly.
- Receiving visitors, addressing their concerns, and guiding them on available support.
- Maintaining records of events, meetings, schedules, and travel itineraries of supervisors.
- Searching for and managing files and documents needed for office tasks.
- Distributing documents to relevant officers in different departments.
- Organizing files and ensuring their safekeeping and timely retrieval.
- Preparing meeting agendas and organizing various meetings.
- Listing and preparing office supply needs.
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have completed Form Four (O-Level) or Form Six (A-Level) education.
- Hold a Diploma or NTA Level 6 Certificate in Secretarial Studies.
- Proven proficiency in Kiswahili and English with typing speed of at least 100 words per minute.
- Competent in office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher.
- Certificates must be recognized by the government.
Salary Scale: TGS C1
2. Driver (Grade II) — 8 Vacancies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections before and after trips.
- Transport officials on official duties safely and efficiently.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
- Collect and distribute official documents as required.
- Maintain detailed records of all trips and vehicle use.
- Follow supervisor’s instructions and perform additional duties as assigned.
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have completed Form Four (O-Level).
- Hold a valid driving license Class E or C.
- Have at least one year of accident-free professional driving experience.
- Must have completed Basic Driving Course from VETA or other recognized institutions.
- Training certificates for the appropriate driving qualifications are essential.
Salary Scale: TGS B1
General Application Conditions
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years (exceptions apply to current government employees).
