Job Opportunity 1: Senior Manager Operations Auditor II
Location: Dar es Salaam
Department: Directorate of Internal Audit
Section: System and Operations Audit
Rank: Principal Operations Audit II
Reports to: Chief Manager System and Operations Audit
Salary Scale: COBSS 9
Position Objective
To provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes, particularly related to ICT infrastructure and services. The role also supports management in ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits and consultancy tasks related to ICT infrastructure and services.
- Offer assurance on data governance to management and the Board.
- Support IT systems and infrastructure within the Audit Directorate.
- Guide audit team members on IT-related tasks.
- Conduct risk assessments and audit planning for ICT-related areas.
- Deliver actionable and timely audit reports.
- Ensure follow-through and implementation of audit recommendations.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach in internal operations.
- Analyze customer feedback to drive service improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in: Computer Science, IT, Informatics, AI, Telecom, Actuarial Science, or related fields from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in a relevant field.

Position Objective
To execute risk-based audits on ICT infrastructure and services, ensuring effective internal controls and highlighting areas for operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ICT risk assessments to inform audit planning.
- Prepare and implement audit programs.
- Extract and analyze data from banking systems for insight generation.
- Execute risk-based audits and report findings.
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure within the audit department.
- Manage and upgrade the Audit Management System regularly.
- Conduct follow-ups on audit recommendation implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Computer Science, IT, Informatics, AI, Actuarial Science, Telecom, or related fields.
- Knowledge of accounting systems is a plus.
