Available Job Positions
1. Regional Manager – TEMESA
Employer: Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA)
Reports to: Chief Executive
Terms: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: TMSS 10
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage regional operations efficiently and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Oversee resources, including tools, materials, and equipment, to avoid shortages or excess costs.
- Monitor customer service practices with focus on response time and service quality.
- Lead and supervise teams, set performance targets, and provide feedback.
- Prepare and manage regional budgets.
- Organize ongoing training to address staff skill gaps.
- Drive local business opportunities and expand market share.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare regular reports on financial health, operations, and employee productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Public Administration, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Electromechanical).
- Engineering candidates must be registered with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB).
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Age limit: Not more than 45 years (55 for public servants).
- Strong leadership, financial management, customer focus, and innovation skills.
2. Manager of Consultancy Services – TEMESA
Employer: Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Services Agency (TEMESA)
Reports to: Director of Maintenance and Technical Services
Terms: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: TMSS 10
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop project proposals.
- Oversee consultancy project teams and staff performance.
- Develop strategies to acquire new clients and expand consultancy services.
- Build relationships with partners, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor project progress, budget control, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as delays or cost overruns.
- Provide regular project reports to TEMESA management.
- Coordinate communication of project successes and milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Economics, Marketing, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Electromechanical).
- Engineering candidates must be ERB registered.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Age limit: Not more than 45 years (55 for public servants).
- Must demonstrate project management expertise, financial insight, and excellent client relationship skills.
