According to the official notice (Ref. No. TDC/L.40/52 dated 29th August 2025), the Council invites eligible candidates to apply for Secondary School Teacher Grade IIIB (Contract) positions. Successful applicants will receive a monthly allowance and play a crucial role in strengthening education standards in Tunduru.

Key Responsibilities
Selected teachers will:
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching notes.
- Create and use teaching aids to enhance learning.
- Teach, assess, and maintain student progress records.
- Supervise student attendance and discipline.
- Mentor and guide learners in academic, spiritual, and moral growth.
- Provide professional advice on education development.
- Manage school property and learning resources.
- Undertake other duties assigned by the Head of School.
Qualifications Required
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Business Studies Teachers
- Diploma in Education with a teaching subject in Commerce, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or Business Studies.
- OR a non-education Diploma with the above teaching subjects from recognized institutions.
- English Teachers
- Diploma in Education with specialization in English from a government-recognized institution.
- History Teachers
- Diploma in Education with specialization in History from a government-recognized institution.
Salary & Benefits
- Contract teachers will receive a monthly allowance of Tsh. 300,000/=.
General Application Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
- Be encouraged to apply if living with disabilities (must clearly indicate the type of disability).
- Attach a detailed CV, active phone number, email address, and three referees.
- Submit certified copies of academic certificates (Form IV, Form VI, Diploma/Degree, Professional Certificates, Computer Certificate, etc.).
- Note that provisional results, testimonials, and result slips (Form IV & VI) will not be accepted.
- Applicants who studied abroad must have their certificates verified by TCU, NECTA, or NACTVET.
- Retired civil servants are not eligible, unless with special clearance.
- Current government employees in entry-level positions are not allowed to apply.
- Applicants who present forged information will face legal action.
- Those with name discrepancies in their documents must submit a Deed Poll registered with the Ministry of Lands.
