Available Academic Positions
UAUT is looking to fill six academic positions across Computer Engineering and Business Administration disciplines. The roles offer opportunities for both experienced lecturers and emerging academic professionals.
1. Lecturer in Computer Engineering (1 Position)
Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Engineering.
- Master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0 from a TCU-recognized institution.
- Preference for candidates with expertise in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or ICT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate programs.
- Supervise student projects and mentor junior staff.
- Participate in curriculum development and university research projects.
- Publish research findings in relevant academic journals.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by university authorities.
2. Assistant Lecturer in Computer Engineering (2 Positions)
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering (GPA ≥ 4.0/5.0).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (GPA ≥ 3.5/5.0).
- Prior teaching experience is an advantage.
- Preference for backgrounds in Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or ICT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and examinations.
- Participate in research, consultancy, and community outreach activities.
- Supervise student projects and assist in preparing teaching materials.
- Attend and organize academic workshops, seminars, and conferences.
3. Lecturer in Business Administration (1 Position)
Qualifications:
- PhD in Accounting or Marketing.
- Master’s degree (GPA ≥ 4.0/5.0).
- Bachelor’s degree (GPA ≥ 3.5/5.0) from TCU-recognized institutions.
- Preference for expertise in Accounting, Marketing, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars for undergraduate programs.
- Mentor junior academic staff and supervise student research projects.
- Engage in research and publication activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and university projects.
4. Assistant Lecturer in Business Administration (2 Positions)
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Marketing (GPA ≥ 4.0/5.0).
- Bachelor’s degree (GPA ≥ 3.5/5.0) from TCU-recognized institutions.
- Prior teaching experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, seminars, tutorials, and examinations.
- Supervise student research projects and assist in curriculum development.
- Carry out research, consultancy, and community engagement activities.
- Prepare teaching manuals and attend academic events.
